COOKIE POLICY

Cookie Policy Cod. PRV-INF-01-002_v01 - Rev. 06/2026

In accordance with the Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority no. 229 of 8 May 2014, the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021, and EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

This Cookie Policy is provided by NICOLE DI STAMBAZZI ISABELLA (hereinafter the "Data Controller"), with registered office at Via F. Filzi n. 6, 47814 Bellaria-Igea Marina (RN), to illustrate the types, purposes, and methods of use of cookies and other tracking tools installed while browsing the website scarpe-da-ballo.com (hereinafter the "Site").

1. WHAT COOKIES AND TRACKING TOOLS ARE

Cookies are small text strings that the sites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored to be then retransmitted to the same sites on the user's next visit.

In addition to cookies, other similar tracking tools (e.g., Pixels, Tags, Web Beacons) may be used on the Site, which allow the user's device to be identified or information to be collected about their browsing behavior for statistical or marketing purposes.

Cookies can be classified based on their duration (session or persistent) and based on their origin:

  • First-party cookies: installed directly by the Site's Data Controller.

  • Third-party cookies: installed by a different website, through the Data Controller's Site, for the purposes of those third parties.

2. TYPES OF COOKIES USED BY THE SITE

The Site uses the following categories of cookies and trackers, also managed and provided via the native Shopify e-commerce infrastructure:

A) Technical and Necessary Cookies (First-Party) These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the Site and for the provision of services requested by the user (e.g., navigation between pages, authentication in the customer area, saving products added to the shopping cart, security management).

  • Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at the user's request (Art. 6, par. 1, let. b, GDPR).

  • Consent: Prior consent from the user is not required for the installation of these cookies; however, disabling them via browser settings may compromise or prevent the use of the Site.

B) Analytical and Statistical Cookies (First and Third-Party) Used to collect information in an aggregated and anonymous form about the number of users and how they visit the Site (e.g., most read pages, time spent, search queries).

  • Tools used: Google Analytics 4, native Shopify reporting tools, Shopify Search & Discovery.

  • Consent: If the data is completely anonymized and not cross-referenced with other features (e.g., IP address masking), they are treated as technical cookies. Otherwise, they are activated only upon the user's explicit consent via the cookie banner.

C) Profiling, Marketing, and Social Cookies (Third-Party) These tools allow for tracking the user's browsing, analyzing their behavior for commercial purposes, and creating profiles related to their tastes, habits, and consumption choices. They are used to show relevant and personalized advertisements on external platforms or social networks.

  • Tools and Third Parties involved: Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Google Ads, Spotify for Artists (music channel connection).

  • Consent: These cookies are installed exclusively if the user provides their explicit and prior consent by clicking "Accept" or by customizing their preferences on the initial banner.

D) Cookies for External Features and Chat (Third-Party) These allow for the integration of features developed by third parties into the Site, such as maps, review systems (Judge.me Reviews), loyalty programs (Smile.io), or live chat and support modules (Shopify Inbox, WhatsApp Business integration via Meta).

  • Consent: These are activated only following user consent, as interaction with these applications involves the transfer of technical and browsing identifiers to the third-party providers.

3. CONSENT MANAGEMENT AND PREFERENCE REVIEW

Upon first accessing any page of the Site, the user sees an informative Banner containing a brief notice regarding the use of cookies. Through the banner, it is possible to:

  • Accept the installation of all types of cookies by clicking "Accept all".

  • Refuse the installation of any non-strictly necessary cookies by clicking "Reject" or closing the banner.

  • Select granularly which cookie categories to authorize via the "Customize" or "Cookie Settings" section.

The Site's infrastructure is configured in compliance with European regulations (GDPR): in the absence of a positive action of consent by the user, no profiling, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies will be installed on the browser (preventive blocking).

The user can change or revoke the consent provided at any time by clicking on the permanent "Manage Cookies" or "Cookie Preferences" link found in the footer of the Site.

4. MANAGEMENT VIA BROWSER SETTINGS

In addition to the options provided by the Site's banner, the user can configure their internet browser to block, delete, or limit the use of cookies on their device. Instructions for the main browsers are available at the following addresses:

For third-party cookies, the user may also exercise their right to opt-out by visiting the privacy policies of the individual third parties or by using centralized platforms such as Your Online Choices.
