The footwear district where balance is an art.
In the artisanal district of Bellaria Igea Marina, rigor and geometric precision guide every step of the shoemaking process. Building on the foundations laid by founder Learco, the workshop has perfected the structural balance of the dance shoe. This precious legacy is reflected in the Tango collection: shoes created to support the proud posture and dramatic elegance of a dance that makes stability and alignment its vital core.
Hands tracing the axis, before the embrace ignites.
Before the connection between chest and arms is formed in a milonga, our hands sketch the lines of force that will support the body. For the Tango collection, the study of the neckline, the intertwining of the straps, and the positioning of the heel is meticulous. Each prototype is refined, corrected, and tested by hand to ensure that the shoe embraces the heel with absolute firmness, allowing the foot to express itself in fluid glides and twists without ever losing contact with its center.
The beat of the instruments for relentless stability.
In the Bellaria Igea Marina workshop, the application of reinforcing nails and the anchoring of the heel follow millimetric precision. During production, heat-setting the upper stabilizes the shoe on the last to eliminate any wobbling. It is this rigorous footwear engineering that ensures the heel remains centered perpendicularly under the heel bone, offering dancers infallible support during quick ochos and sudden changes of direction.
Exceptional stability you can feel with your fingertips.
In keeping with the Learco tradition, the reliability of a shoe is first perceived by touch. Our hands graze the curves of the heels, examine the uniformity of the buffalo or leather sole, and verify the structural rigidity of the heel before packaging. Only when the sensitivity of our fingers confirms maximum sturdiness combined with the softness of the fit is the footwear shipped: ready to dominate the floor in an eternal embrace.
